David made a United Nations Creative Economy presentation at the United Nations Headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland.<\/p>\n

He was invited by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD<\/a>) to share his experience of working in the Creative Economy worldwide. His presentation was entitled: \u201cThe Creative Economy and Creative Entrepreneurship: A Worldwide Perspective\u201d.<\/p>\n

In his United Nations Creative Economy presentation, David spoke about:<\/p>\n

\u2013 Creative Hubs<\/a> including his involvement in the European Creative Hubs Network<\/a>
\u2013 The free resources<\/a> on creative entrepreneurship he has developed for use worldwide
\u2013 His book \u201cT-Shirts and Suits\u201d which has been translated in 14 countries<\/a> and available as a free eBook in English<\/a>
\u2013 The creative business training workshops<\/a> he has designed and delivered worldwide
\u2013 The \u2018big three\u2019 issues of Marketing, Intellectual Property and Finance
\u2013 The Creative Commons licence<\/a> and Freemium<\/a> business model that is used to publish the free eBook
\u2013 The Orange Economy<\/a> in Latin America
\u2013 Business Strategies for creative enterprises worldwide
\u2013 Startups in the creative economy and the challenges they face
\u2013 Marketing as a topic of interest to creative businesses around the world<\/p>\n

Other presentations were made by Marisa Henderson, Chief of the Creative Economy programme at UNCTAD and Christoph Spenneman, Intellectual Property expert working at the United Nations in Geneva.<\/p>\n

At the United Nations, David presented copies of his two books<\/a> on creative business to the UNCTAD team.<\/p>\n\n

David is an international expert in the creative economy, creative entrepreneurship, the creative industries. He works worldwide as a conference speaker<\/a>, trainer<\/a>, business adviser<\/a>, coach<\/a> and author. He speaks at conferences about the Digital Economy, the Orange Economy, the Creative Economy, Strategic Marketing and International Business.<\/p>\n

He has worked in more than 50 countries on six continents<\/a>. He travels extensively from his base in the United Kingdom and is available to work in countries around the world.<\/p>\n\n
